Ready for this wedding in a cave at the Meritage Resort and Spa in Napa?? This venue is one of the most unique I’ve ever photographed. From the candlelit wine cave to the open air dinner overlooking the vineyard, you have a variety of spaces with completely different vibes to utilize.
The bride, groom and guests all stayed at the Meritage together making for an epic wedding weekend. They all got ready in their suites before walking down to the wine cave for the ceremony. A romantic, moody vibe is set the second you step food into the cave. Candles light the path down the aisle while violinists play near the entrance.
Immediately following the ceremony guests make their way up back up to open air for an outdoor dinner near the vineyard. The bride chose a classic table scape lined with white roses and are candles. This is one of my favorite aspects of a wedding at Meritage Resort – the ability to shift the vibe of the party each time you move into a new space so drastically.
The energy shifts again when guests reenter the wine cave for drinks and dancing. The space has been transformed into essentially a nightclub. This crew came ready to party as you’ll see sifting through the photos below.
