Every year I take a trip to Seattle to do family photos for the Kearse’s, and they were so sweet to introduce me to Rian and her adorable family for a session this fall. We met at a little local park on a gloomy day to stroll around with the kids and capture some mems. Her boys were so cute holding hands exploring together. I always try to let kids be kids at this age. Parents can get super overwhelmed trying to wrangle the littles for everyone to pose and smile at the camera. Family photos can be hard! I find the images so much more meaningful when they capture the kiddos authentic energy.
The family wore a mix of complimentary neutral tones. I recommend trying to compliment, not match when it comes to photoshoot outfits. Seattle is so beautiful for family photos with its deep greens and calm vibes. . We even had a family of deer cross our path at the end of the session. It was a super relaxed, easygoing day. We got some great shots documenting the boys at this precious age.
