Get In Touch
They wanted their wedding to feel like you stepped inside a Gucci ad.
Morgan and Luca tied the knot at their Moorten Botanical Garden wedding and celebrated with pasta and karaoke at Birba Palm Springs. The bride wore a dress handmade by her mother, and the Groom chose a family style dinner that won over the likes of his Italian chef mother. M + L are equal parts stylish and madly in love – my all time favorite combination.
THE CEREMONY
The ceremony took place at Moorten Botanical Gardens in early March. Styled simply, they set classic wooden folding chairs and wild desert floral arrangements. Guests were met with cold Italian sodas and live guitar music. In the grooms words, he’s been in love with her for ages and his eyes confirmed during the ceremony.
ADVICE FOR COUPLES
Often times when a wedding looks this stylish, there’s so much work and stress put in that the meaning gets lost. This was not the case for Morgan and Luca. Before heading to Moorten Botanical Garden they set aside an hour of time to be together, just them. This gave us the perfect opportunity to take photos stress free before the actual wedding celebrations began. Meanwhile, the coordinator was handling everything onsite so the couple felt no stress. If I could give advice to any couple who wants to prioritize amazing photos, a meaningful emotion filled day and a party they can genuinely enjoy it would this. Ditch the bridal party, keep your guest list true to the best of best, hire an amazing coordinator, and set aside a full hour pre celebration to just be together somewhere away from the chaos. Invite your photographer and the rest is magic.
Following their Moorten Botanical Garden wedding, Birba helped them create a magical candlelit dinner party. They had caricatures of each guest made and used them as place cards. They opted for karaoke in lieu of a traditional dance floor. Late night eats were passed around in custom pizza boxes. From start to finish this wedding felt like them, and I couldn’t be more grateful to have been a part of it.
