Get In Touch
This Marina Del Rey Engagement is too yummy. My favorite photographs happen when couples put their trust in me allowing me capture them as organically as possible. When they trust me to come into their home and be a fly on the wall for those intimate moments. That’s where the magic is. That’s exactly what happened with Brooke and Zach.
When I was getting to know B+Z, I wanted to find the things that were most important to them. What they love: Sundays at home, their foster and rescue kitties, long warm baths, and romantic walks on the beach. I felt totally inspired and obsessed with the moments we captured. Between his creative heart as a musician and her pure natural beauty, it was easy to create and document this sweet time in life. Zach wasn’t thrilled about the idea of taking photos (typical for guys). By the end of the shoot he was serving straight up model looks. Nothing makes me happier than when your husbands kill it and admit they had fun at these sessions.
We started the day in their perfectly aesthetic condo by the beach. They did all the things they would normally do – snugged up on the couch, danced in the kitchen and took a bath together. Their session was a mixture of everything I love. It started with quiet intimacy and came alive running around in the cold sand at the beach. Have I mentioned my love for a good winter sunset?
This session has so much of them. The fun, the silly, the intimate and the very much in love. One of my favorite parts of my job is giving people a glimpse into these moments that normally wouldn’t be captured. My ego loves to picture them in a tiny frame on your nightstands.
I’ll be stalking them to the end of time – Zach don’t be alarmed when I show up at your next gig. Love you two!
