This Los Angeles newborn session feels so so special to me. I met Taylor and Jordan just a few months before the birth of their baby boy Grayson. After their in home maternity session they asked me back to take newborn photos when Grayson was just 2 weeks old. When I walked into the house it was quiet. Small baby items rested on every surface and Jordan greeted me with tired eyes. The first two weeks with your first born is a time unlike any other and I could feel the baby bliss in full effect.
Aside from Grayson being the cutest newborn held by his stunning parents, my favorite part about these photos is that you can feel the sleep deprived, first week home, absolute obsessed love that they have for their baby boy. Jordan cried more than once just holding him. There is a teary eyed family photo of them in the nursery near the end of this post that says it all.
I feel so lucky when I get to follow along a journey with my couples like this. Seeing all the different stages of life and love is the greatest gift. I can’t wait to photograph Graysons wedding in 30 years! 😉
