Get ready for these yummy Los Angeles Engagement Photos In A Vintage Car. Kali booked me off a referral after not even looking at my website, and I’m so glad she did. She’s a total free and spontaneous spirit. We skipped the traditional sunset photos and went straight for some harsh afternoon light. I met K + M at their perfectly styled, eclectic condo in LA. We jumped in their vintage red convertible and documented their favorite thing to do – drive around their neighborhood listening to Neil Young and Rufus du Soul.
I usually coach my couples to wear something super casual and neutral for engagement photos, but Kali has an entirely different vibe. She rocked a funky lime green dress and Max wore leather. They are absolutely cooler than me – I take no credit for styling them LOL. We drove around and hit a few of their favorite date spots, and then headed back to their condo to end with an in home esession.
They immediately changed into a casual outfit, took tequila shots and danced around their living room. Kali told me while they were stuck at home during the pandemic, they spent most of their time up in the loft drinking wine while Max played the guitar all day. This was early on in their relationship and it felt special to them so we documented exactly that, resulting in one of my fave photos of Max jumping off the couch playing guitar. These two were so chill and fun. Just wait till you see their epic Hollywood wedding.
