Get In Touch
I don’t normally do maternity photos, but Ben and Dana had seen a recent in home session I did for a couple and they insisted we create their own version. And after meeting them, I couldn’t say no! It’s totally my vibe, barefoot in the kitchen reading the paper like a regular Sunday afternoon. This little babe on the way has the coolest parents.
We set the mood for the session by playing a John Legend record and then I just let these two be. They floated around the house and spent time in all their favorite nooks and crannies. We wanted this session to feel real, like a piece of home. The love they have for each other and excitement for the new little babe on the way is undeniable. D showed off her bump in baggy jeans and white button down. It felt like her, and it photographed perfect.
These two went through the intense journey of IVF and wanted to document that part of their story. Seeing all of the needles splayed out on the floor is such a reminder of how much they went through together to build their family. So many feels!
I have so much love for these two and can’t wait for that little babe to arrive! Congratulations B+D!
