I’m a sucker for in home maternity photos. Throw in some moody window light and a couple willing to let me play and I’m drooling. These two were in such a simple and sweet time in life. Expecting their first baby, in their first home together. Capturing moments like this in peoples lives and giving them something to remember it is such a bad ass feeling.
They lived down the street from me- total coincidence, and we hit it off right away. They instantly made me feel at home in their home. Their home was such a vibe. The natural light with the all the windows made playing around with shadows so fun. We floated around their living room with their fur baby, moved into the bedroom for some intimate photos, and then made coffee in the kitchen, documenting the last few moments of it being just the two of them. At the end we rode around and took photos in their vintage car that they often take out for long drives together just because. These are the perks of doing photoshoots in your space. I really get an insight into who you are and we get to highlight the things that are special to you. In turn, the photos feel that much more special.
