Get In Touch
New York meets LA in this Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel wedding. The day went something like this. The whole wedding crew got ready at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel (a total vibe). When I got there Kali was glammed up, dining on chocolate covered strawberries and champagne. K, can I be you when I grow up? I could tell Max was nervous when I went to pick him up from hanging with this boys (adorable).
Their first look couldn’t have been more epic with the entire pool cheering them on. We ran around the hotel shooting some high flash photos, then whisked away to Max’s grandmothers house in the hills. Kali is originally from New York. To honor her roots she set up a swanky New York style cocktail hour inside the house. Outside was a backyard LA reception complete with balloons floating out of the pool, server trays full of heart shaped glasses for guests, and tequila flowing.
By the end of the night she changed into a feathery reception two piece complete with light up disco ball earrings. I’ve said it before but I LOVE this reception outfit trend. Wedding dresses are great but something about getting comfy and throwing on feathers and sparkles at the same time sets a whole different tone.
Throughout the night Chinese takeout was eaten, countless shots were taken, many tables danced on, and hearts broken all around the world while two of the most free spirited people I know tied the knot.
There’s not much traditional about K + M. They’re as cool as hell and the so fun to be around. Not the mention, so, so stylish. I’ll forever drool over these two and this night. Love you long time K+M!
